Day 6 - Leh
today we went out on our first trip above 5000m.
We all jumped in jeeps and were driven up the mountain to the highest (or second highest) drivable mountain pass in the world. at 5200m we were very happy that no one felt ill or got a headache. this shows that our preperation has gone well. we are all in good spirits and looking forward to the project where we have a chance to thank the ladakis for their hospitality.
We will post tomorrow.
regards
george and will

Hi Bex
Great to learn that you and the team got to over 5000m with no one feeling unwell- ex-cel-lent - as Mr Berry would say.
I hope you're coping with the humidity and extreme temperatures!
Not to mention the biting beasties.
Miss you loads -though your bedroom doesn't smell quite so bad!
Looking forward to the next blog update.
